Sunderland Enhanced Access Service

If you can’t get an appointment with your GP or can’t get there during the day due to work or other commitments you can use the Enhanced Access Service.

Sunderland offers extra appointments seven days a week at your local out of hours site, alternatively it may be possible to arrange an appointment at another site across the city which your practice will arrange.

Whatever the time of day, if you or someone else experiences any of the following:

– severe chest pain

– loss of blood

– suspected broken bones

go to your nearest accident and emergency department or call 999.

If you are in any doubt, suffering chest pains or serious risk to life when the surgery is closed, then call 999 immediately.
